This is my journal specifically for mucking through ideas and assignments pertaining to the ADF. It started out as my Dedicant journal: now that's all turned in and awaiting approval, so we'll be going on to whatever else I study next. It's here mainly so that other ADF people who want to talk Dedicant (or other study programs I do) stuff and see me talk Dedicant (ditto) stuff without delving too deep into my weirdness (oh friends, I'm weird) can do so.
If, on the other hand, you find me here first and decide you're all about weirdness, you can check me out at
estaratshirai, which is where most of the weirdness goes.
Not that I'm promising to be particularly normal here either: but the weirdness is likely to be tip-of-the-iceberg quality weirdness. Oh - no offense is intended if you friend me at both addresses, but I only friend you back there. It's a bookkeeping tidiness thing. :D I don't make any "friends only" posts here anyway, so you won't miss anything.
Hearth culture? Heh. The short answer is "pan-IE." The long answer is: I've got standing relationships with the Olympians, a particular subset of the Germanic gods, one or two Celts, and Shiva and Kali. The Germanic (with more English than Continental flavoring) and Indian ideas have the most other repercussions on my practice: I have the impression that my potential love for Vedic Druidism is not requited, so if pressed I will claim Saxon. (But luckily, I come from a pan-friendly Grove and am seldom pressed.)
